BIOGRAPHY

Born in Waco, Texas, and raised in nearby Killeen, Hewitt has had show business in her blood since an early age. At the age of nine, she became a member of the Texas Show Team accompanying the troupe on a special goodwill performance tour of Russia. And at age ten, after moving to Los Angeles, she began appearing in commercials and was featured in the national print campaign for LA Gear. She also has appeared in a few commercials with Michael Jordan. She was a series regular on "McKenna," "The Byrds of Paradise," "Shaky Ground" and "Kids, Incorporated." Her feature films include the soon-to-be-released "I Know What You did Last Summer," "Telling You," "House Arrest" and "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit." Hewitt is also an accomplished singer and her first album Love Songs was released in 1992. Her second album Let’s Go Bang was completed just prior to her being cast on "Party of Five," and her latest album, Jennifer Love Hewitt, was released in September of ‘96. Hewitt lives in Los Angeles with her mother and two cats Haylie and Don Juan DeMarco (named after her favorite movie).

Jennifer usually goes by her middle name of Love. Jennifer's mother, Pat, named her the name after a collage roomate of hers.

The name Jennifer is a 3-syllable girl's name of Celtic/Old English origin, means: One who loves peace; white-cheeked. Jennifer is the 31st most popular girl's name and 100% of people with this name spell it Jennifer.

Other than acting, Love also sings. In fact, it is what Love started her career with. At the age of ten, she joined the Texas Show Team which had her singing and dancing all over the U.S.S.R. and Denmark. Then on 10-10-95, she released her American debut album Lets Go Bang and in 8-20-96 Love released the follow up album titled Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Though, Love is probably best known for her acting career. Sence 1994 she has stared on Fox's Party of Five. Love has also stared in the following movies: Dance! Workout With Barbie (1991), Munchie (1992), Little Miss Millions (1993), Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993), House Arrest (1996), Trojan War (1997), I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), Can't Hardly Wait (1998), I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), and comming up Telling You (1999?), and The Suburbans (1999?).

Lately in newsgroups there has been a lot of talk about weather Love's breasts are real or not. They are real and here is proof. This is an excerpt from YM magazine:
"Then I realized, the boobs are mine and I should be proud of them," Love says, "They're like a great accessory to every outfit."

Another recent quote by Love:
"I would just love once to be called sexy. Just because it would make me something other than cute."
